I helped with the 3d element of the show as one of the main elements was to use additive manufacturing and mixed media to show the crowd which gathered to watch a sunset in Porto, Portugal over the 5 minuites. I scanned and then reworked meshes to 3d print them to give the impression of a gathering crowd.

the images below were taked at roscommon arts centre, these include one of the printers i built to carry out the work as there was an interest in trying different materials and off the shelf printers didnt give the flexibility needed.
the prints are done in a range of materials, most are ASA and PET based, there are some that are based in filled materials, some with glass fiber and carbon, some with metal additions.
there are some sculpture that is done in a more traditional fashion with wood, plaster and other mediums.
we found the scans once edited became interesting images on their own, this became something we explored and decided to display.
